Penerangan

The Hotel Finance Officer is responsible for managing the hotel's financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role includes encoding and verifying financial reports, managing payroll, preparing statements of account (SOA), and overseeing accounting and finance tasks to support the hotel's operational efficiency and profitability.


Financial Reporting and Encoding:

  • Accurately encode and review the Front Office Accounts (FOA) report to ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
  • Prepare and verify daily, weekly, and monthly financial summaries to track the hotel's performance.

Payroll Management:

  • Process payroll efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of salaries and benefits.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Accounts Receivable and Payable:

  • Prepare Statements of Account (SOA) for unpaid bills and follow up with clients or guests to ensure timely payment.
  • Reconcile accounts and address discrepancies in a timely manner.

Accounting and Finance Operations:

  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Record and track financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Coordination and Communication:

  • Collaborate with the front office, sales, and other departments to ensure accurate billing and record-keeping.
  • Provide financial insights and support decision-making for hotel management.

Syarat-syarat

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
