Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred but not required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Monitor and maintain the company’s internal controls, ensuring adherence to accounting policies and procedures
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Support budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns, statutory contributions, and other government compliance requirements
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff to improve performance and efficiency
• Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in accounting operations
• Handle other related tasks as assigned by management
