• Supervising and coordinating the day-to-day financial accounting and reporting activities of the finance team
• Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data
• Analysing financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
• Mentoring and developing the finance team to enhance their skills and capabilities

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance supervisory or management role, preferably in the manufacturing or packaging industry
• Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles, practices, and reporting requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in using financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification is preferred
