The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage financial transactions, cash flow, and reporting.
• Generate and analyze daily Profit & Loss (P&L) reports for accuracy and insights.
• Maintain detailed financial records using spreadsheets and ensure they are up-to-date.
• Fill in and update the finance tracker, including:
• Calculating daily profits for each store.
• Monitoring refund rates and ensuring they align with expectations.
• Calculating fees and devising strategies to reduce costs.
• Tracking advertising spend and Cost of Goods (COG).
• Process money transfers to employees and companies.
• Ensure all fund transfers are timely and accurate

Currency Management:

• Track and record currency conversions daily.
• Calculate losses incurred from each conversion and develop strategies to minimize them.

Weekly Fund Transfers:

• Process money transfers to employees and companies.
• Ensure all fund transfers are timely and accurate.

Supplier Oversight:

• Regularly verify supplier quotations against charges.
• Conduct a comprehensive daily review of all stores and orders to ensure consistency and prevent discrepancies.

Payment Processor Management:

• Work seamlessly with payment platforms such as Xendi, Shopify Payments etc.
• Ensure payment processor fees are monitored and managed efficiently.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare monthly financial reports and perform in-depth data analysis to support informed decision-making.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience in finance, preferably with background on e-commerce / tech industry.
• Proficiency in working with spreadsheets and financial tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
