PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

The Financial Analyst has the primary responsibility to understand the operations of his/her respective entity; collect, analyze and interpret financial data; instigate budget preparing and conduct budget monitoring; prepare financial reports and give recommendations to the management team to improve the entity's financial performance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Financial Data Management

• Coordinates with Accounting Department in collecting financial data
• Ensures the accuracy of collected financial data
• Increases productivity be developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements
• Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data
• Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data
• Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data
• Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential

Data Analysis and Reporting

• Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions
• Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management
• Recommends actions by analyzing results and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials

Corporate Planning and Finance

• In-charge of the creation and maintenance of the Financial model
• Prepare presentation of any capital raising activity
• Conducts and review valuation of assets and companies

REQUIREMENT

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent
• At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• CPA/CFA Level 1 passer is a plus
• Willing to be based in Makati City
• Can start as soon as possible
