About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Management Officer to lead the development and management of insurance products. The ideal candidate will have experience in product strategy, market analysis, compliance, and cross-functional coordination within the insurance industry. This role requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye on market trends, and a passion for digital insurance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of new general insurance products and enhancements to existing products.
• Assist the Product Manager in creating product propositions for digital channels, partnerships, and various distribution channels.
• Identify current and new market trends and opportunities, conducting market scans to drive business growth.
• Prepare product performance and monitoring reports regularly.
• Ensure overall product compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Maintain product relevance relative to competitors, market trends, and customer feedback.
• Oversee communication with internal teams such as IT, Finance, Operations, and Marketing regarding product updates or changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any discipline; preferably in Business Administration, Mathematics, or Integrated Marketing Communications.
• At least 5 years of insurance product development experience in a life or non-life insurance firm.
• Strong understanding of local regulatory requirements on general insurance products; experience with product submissions and filings with the Insurance Commission is preferred.
• Keen interest in InsurTech and digital insurance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
