The General Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves preparing financial reports, monitoring project costs, and supporting management in financial planning and analysis specific to the construction industry. This full-time position is based in Taguig City, Metro Manila, where you will contribute to the strategic direction and successful delivery of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Handle general accounting functions such as journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
2. Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
3. Monitor and track project costs, expenses, and budgets.
4. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and company policies.
5. Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
6. Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and operations teams for accurate cost recording.
7. Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.
8. Support external and internal audits.
9. Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.

What we're looking for

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.
• With at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and project cost accounting
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Odoo, SAP, or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills
