Site Safety Officer Job Purpose:

The Safety officer will ensure a safe and healthy environment for all employees. This involves implementing and maintaining safety protocols, procedures, and policies across the organization. This includes: 1) OSH (Occupational Safety and Health compliance; 2) Environment; 3) Security Agency compliance; 4) Contractors Work Permit.

Job Summary

• Responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing company's employee safety at work.
• Ensure that the company complies and adheres to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines.
• Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations and creating analytical reports of safety data
• Auditing and inspecting production equipment and processes and keeping on the lookout for any unsafe behavior or breaks in regulations
• Participating in continuing education to update knowledge of health and safety protocols and techniques and presenting safety principles to staff in meetings or lecture-type training sessions
• Investigating causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions on the job site and finding the best way to prevent future accidents
• Reviewing and reporting on the staff's compliance with health and safety rules and recommending commendations or dismissal based on performance.

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• Must be BOSH certified, DOLE Certified Safety Officer 3 or Certified Safety Practitioner
• Preferably with at least 3-year experience as safety officer in manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry
• Knowledgeable in writing reports and policies related to health, environmental and safety concerns, and issues
• Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus
• Outstanding organizational skills, diligent and with great attention to details.
• Willing to work in Dasmariñas, Cavite
• Preferably can start as soon as possible
