The HR Generalist is responsible for performing a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, compensation and benefits administration, and HR compliance. The role ensures that HR processes are implemented effectively in alignment with company policies, labor laws, and organizational goals.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Recruitment & Staffing

  • Conduct end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and shortlisting candidates.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure timely and accurate manpower fulfillment.
  • Administer job postings, applicant tracking, and interview schedules.


2. Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
  • Prepare employment contracts, requirements checklist, and employee files.
  • Process clearance, exit interviews, and final pay for resigning employees.


3. Employee Relations

  • Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a professional manner.
  • Monitor employee behavior, attendance, and disciplinary actions.
  • Promote employee engagement programs and company culture initiatives.


4. HR Administration

  • Maintain and update 201 files, HR databases, and personnel records.
  • Prepare HR memos, notices, contracts, and other HR documents.
  • Manage timekeeping and coordinate with payroll for timely processing.


5. Compensation & Benefits

  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing attendance, leaves, and deductions.
  • Administer government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Ensure compliance with labor standards on wages, allowances, and benefits.


6. Performance Management

  • Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems.
  • Coordinate evaluation schedules and assist supervisors during the review process.
  • Track employee KPIs and performance improvement plans (PIPs).


7. Training & Development

  • Conduct training needs analysis (TNA).
  • Coordinate internal and external training programs.
  • Maintain training records and effectiveness evaluations.


8. HR Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with DOLE requirements, labor policies, and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and submit mandatory reports (e.g., SSS R3, PhilHealth RF1, Pag-IBIG reports, DOLE reports).
  • Assist in implementing company policies, Code of Conduct, and HR procedures.


9. HR Reports

  • Prepare HR reports such as manpower updates, turnover rate, attendance reports, and HR metrics.
  • Support management in HR audits and ISO documentation, if applicable.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related course.
  • At least 1–3 years of HR experience (generalist or specialist).
  • Knowledgeable in Labor Laws and DOLE regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
