Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mason or similar role
• Knowledge of masonry techniques and materials
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Physical strength and stamina
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Attention to detail and precision
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training is a plus
• Understanding of safety procedures and regulations
• Reliable transportation to job sites

Responsibilities:

• Lay bricks, stones, and concrete blocks according to blueprints
• Mix mortar and grout to appropriate consistency
• Cut and shape materials using hand and power tools
• Construct and repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures
• Ensure alignment and structural integrity of masonry work
• Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
• Operate scaffolding and other equipment safely
• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
• Estimate materials and time required for projects
