We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud & Data Engineering Support Specialist to provide end-to-end support for applications and data platforms. This role involves troubleshooting, incident resolution, and proactive monitoring of systems built on cutting-edge technologies like Azure, GCP, Databricks, and modern programming languages.

Cloud & Data Engineering Platforms:

• Microsoft Azure (including Data Factory and Data Lake)
• Databricks for big data processing
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including DataFlow and Composer (DAGs)

Programming & Application Development:

• Java (including Spring Boot)
• JavaScript (including React)
• Python

Databases:

• MongoDB
• PostgreSQL

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in application or production support
• Highly technical, analytical, and detail-oriented
• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences
• Proactive, self-driven, and collaborative
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 support model
• Experience in support-oriented environments and comfort with ad hoc tasks
• Ability to adapt to changing workloads and priorities
• Strong time and work management skills
• Customer- and user-service oriented

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end support for Configuration Items, including incident resolution, minor enhancements, and tool development
• Maintain solution documentation and manage knowledge databases
• Monitor and respond to incidents within SLA timelines
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex issues
• Execute and monitor ad hoc requests and proactive support services
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in applications and data pipelines built on Azure, GCP, Databricks, Java, Python, and JavaScript
• Participate in on-call rotations, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers via email, IM, or conference calls
• Take on functional tasks and potentially oversee a functional area or participate in projects as Designer, Tester, or Implementer
• Adapt to changing workloads and priorities based on business demand
