Shipping & Logistics Account Assistant (Entry-Level)

Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic Shipping & Logistics Account Assistant to support our logistics partners and account management team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with little to no experience who are interested in building a career in logistics, freight operations, and customer account management. You will assist in coordinating shipments, monitoring logistics performance, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing relationships with logistics clients, carriers, and vendors.
• Support daily coordination of shipments, booking schedules, and delivery updates.
• Track cargo status and ensure timely communication with clients regarding shipment progress.
• Help prepare shipping documents, billing details, and basic reports.
• Monitor service performance, delays, and operational issues, escalating when needed.
• Coordinate with warehouse, operations, and customer service teams for smooth logistics execution.
• Assist in gathering market information and competitor insights in the logistics space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or any related field (preferred but not required).
• Open to fresh graduates or candidates with no prior logistics experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn.
• Basic understanding of shipping or supply chain concepts is a plus (but not required).
• Proficient in MS Office or Google Workspace.
