• Take full responsibility of the shift in terms of supervision of staff, management of cargo loading and on-time targets, and to ensure the smooth running of the operations processes.

• Responsible for the allocation of schedule, work assignment and proper supervision to duty Cargo Representative and assigned Driver.

• Plan cargo loading according to commitment to client, airline and flight schedule, type of commodity, and equipment availability.

• Responsible for coordinating and collecting pick-up or delivery requirements from client and account handler and ensuring proper dispatching of the team.

• Responsible in seeking assistance from fleet management on fleet availability to be utilized in delivery or pick-up requirement

• Monitoring and issuance of truck seals to dispatched drivers.

• Perform special handling procedures for high value loading like constant monitoring, witnessing during loading, taking of photos etc.

• Validation and checking on the cutting of HAWB, SACC, and Transfer manifest.

• Prepare loading manifest and monitoring of loading dispatched during shift.

• Monitor status and/or update of the cargo transferred to JGCF.

• Sending complete and accurate pre-alerts to the destination station.

• Checking and updating delivery status through the system.

• Responsible for consistent checking of e-mail and answering any inquiries of outstation or clients through e-mail or telephone and ensuring high level of customer satisfaction.

• Take immediate action on irregularities encountered like coordinating with client/customer upon consultation with Immediate Superior.

• Responsible for monitoring movement of dispatched Cargo Representatives and Drivers in field in terms of accomplishment of task assigned.

• Responsible for proper and efficient handling of petty cash funds.

• Responsible for providing guidance to the team and imposing discipline at all times.

• Responsible for issuance of letter of inquiry to employees for any violation incident committed and securing of required documents like IRs and explanation letter and in the conduct of initial investigation.

• Assist walk-in client for cargo acceptance and cutting of HAWB when needed.

• Responsible for providing regular reports and updates to Immediate Superior for all issues or irregularities encountered.

• Actual training and supervision of newly hired on operations standard procedure.

• Implementation of new procedures being mandated.

• Conduct performance evaluation of direct staff.

• Prepare a daily shift report and submit it to Immediate Superior.

• Ensure proper turnover during the end of the shift by providing a turnover report.

• Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein or as may deem necessary by the immediate superior. 

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of logistics or cargo management experience, preferably in a warehouse or transportation setting. (Air, Sea and Land)
• Proven leadership in managing operations, strong understanding of logistics processes, and familiarity with dangerous goods regulations.
• Proficient in logistics software for tracking and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to supervise and mentor team members.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
