- Researching the properties of materials
- Testing materials under different conditions to assess how resistant they are
- Analyzing material test data using modelling software
- Considering waste/environmental impact arising from material use
- Writing reports for project engineers and managers
- Collaborate with supply chain and production teams
- Develop inventory management strategies
- Optimize material usage and reduce waste
- Ensure timely availability of materials
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Conduct supplier assessments and evaluations
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Material Engineering, or related field.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years in materials requirement planning or engineering and with a PRC License is highly preferred.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in laboratory testing equipment, inventory management software; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Working Conditions: Office environment with occasional onsite visits; may require extended hours during peak production.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, effective communicator, and team player with a focus on continuous improvement.
