Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repair and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to enhance team efficiency.

Requirements

• Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, and full mechanical overhauls on diesel and petrol engines.

• Diagnose and repair issues in gearboxes, clutches, brakes, suspension, steering, and drivetrain systems.

• Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults using manuals and diagnostic tools.

• Conduct preventive and urgent repairs on forklifts and maintain accurate service and parts records.

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations while maintaining a clean, organized workshop.

• Mentor junior mechanics and promote teamwork, skill development, and adherence to quality standards.
