【Urgent Hiring】Experienced Mechanical Designer ＜Cebu＞

Job Summary:

Responsible for designing and developing mechanical products and components using CAD software, evaluating their performance, and collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and high-quality standards. Supports prototype development, technical documentation, and continuous design improvements for custom-made production.

Key Responsibilities:

Product and Component Design

• Create 2D/3D drawings using CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, etc.)
• Determine product shape, dimensions, materials, and structure
• Evaluate optimal shape and strength based on requirements

Specification Review and Technical Proposals

• Collect and organize requirements from sales and development teams
• Propose optimal design concepts considering cost, durability, performance, and manufacturability

Strength Analysis and Performance Evaluation

• Conduct evaluations of strength, thermal properties, and vibrations using CAE software
• Ensure designs meet safety standards and performance requirements

Prototyping and Evaluation

• Participate in prototype development and testing
• Implement design improvements based on test results

Collaboration with Manufacturing and Quality Departments

• Verify design for manufacturability (DFM)
• Discuss modifications for mass production and cost reduction
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective measures for defects

Drawing Management and Technical Documentation

• Create part and assembly drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials)
• Manage design changes and maintain technical documentation

Requirements:

• Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of materials science, mechanical engineering, and manufacturing processes
• Problem-solving skills and logical thinking
• Good communication skills to coordinate with manufacturing sites

English and Tagalog proficiency

Education: Open (degree not required)
