Orion Dockyard Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Orion, Bataan. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems and components for our state-of-the-art shipbuilding operations. What you'll be doing

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components for shipbuilding projects, ensuring they meet or exceed industry standards and customer requirements
• Conduct research, analysis, and testing to optimize the performance and efficiency of mechanical systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and production staff, to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and specifications to support project implementation
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field like Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Professional license preferred but not required
• At least 1 year of work-related experience
• Strong knowledge of mathematics, physics, science, engineering principles, computer-aided design (CAD) software, simulation software, and other tools to design, analyze, and test mechanical systems
• Ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex engineering problems
• Strong critical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
