Maintenance Adjuster

The Maintenance Adjuster is responsible for ensuring that production machinery, particularly plastic molding and packaging equipment, operates at peak efficiency. This role involves performing machine set-ups, adjustments, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to minimize downtime and maintain product quality standards. The Maintenance Adjuster also collaborates with production and quality teams to support continuous improvement in efficiency, safety, and reliability.

• Set up, adjust, and fine-tune plastic molding and packaging machines to meet production requirements.
• Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on equipment (e.g., injection molding, extrusion blow molding, or thermoforming machines).
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues and escalate to Maintenance Technicians/Engineers if needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records of machine adjustments, downtime, and repairs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with operators, production supervisors, and quality inspectors to resolve machine-related issues.
• Follow proper lockout-tagout (LOTO) and safety protocols during machine servicing.
• Keep work areas organized and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

Education & Experience:

• At least Vocational/Technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Technology.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as Maintenance Adjuster/Technician in a plastic manufacturing or related industry (injection, blow molding, or rigid packaging preferred).
• Hands-on experience in machine adjustment, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of plastic molding processes (injection, extrusion blow, or thermoforming).
• Familiar with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret machine manuals, mechanical drawings, and schematics.
• Basic knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
