- Design and optimize molding processes for plastic manufacturing.
- Conduct feasibility studies and improve production efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products.
- Analyze and troubleshoot molding defects and issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Design casting molds based on product specifications and customer requirements.
- Create 2D/3D CAD models and detailed technical drawings for mold fabrication.
- Revise mold designs based on feedback, testing, and mold trial results.
- Conduct feasibility studies, DFM (Design for Manufacturability), and participate in mold flow simulations.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience Level: 3-5 years of experience in molding and die-casting engineering.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in CAD, SolidWorks, CATIA; experience with casting simulation applications like MAGMASOFT and ProCAST; knowledge of GD&T and mold structure.
- Working Conditions: Office and manufacturing environments; may require some overtime.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and effective communication.
