The Facilities Engineering Assistant Manager oversees daily plant engineering operations, including supervising, analyzing, recommending, and standardizing systems such as refrigeration, compressed air, power, steam, and preventive maintenance for equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure preventive maintenance (PM) tasks are completed effectively and according to schedule.
• Recommend modifications, revisions, or additions to PM work orders and schedules.
• Monitor and evaluate the daily activities of Engineering Technicians.
• Assist in troubleshooting and implementing system upgrades for plant equipment.
• Ensure availability of critical components to support smooth plant operations and maintain compliance with internal and external audit requirements (structural, wastewater, fire protection, environmental, health, and safety).
• Lead and oversee pre-bid and bid evaluation processes, coordinate with suppliers and contractors, and review third-party activities for compliance and quality.
• Initiate procurement of spare parts and manage inventory control.
• Plan and schedule work orders for direct reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar role.
• Licensed Engineer is preferred.
• Strong background in refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation systems, electrical power, water, steam, compressed air systems, and operation and maintenance of rotating equipment.
• Experienced in Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM).
• Excellent communication skills with high stress tolerance.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, capable of introducing changes in policies or procedures and implementing methods or products that impact one or more functional areas.
• Willing to be assigned in Danao, Cebu.
