Drake’s top client – a global financial industry expert is hiring a PMO Manager to be part of their collaborative team in Pasig City.


Job Overview

The Project Management Office (PMO) Manager will lead the establishment, development, and operations of the enterprise PMO function. This role is responsible for ensuring operational strategy execution through effective project portfolio management, process engineering, resource optimization, and financial governance. The PMO Manager will develop standardized project management methodologies, design optimized business processes, drive cross-functional alignment, and provide strategic oversight to maximize ROI on company initiatives while ensuring operational excellence. Candidates with strong financial background are especially encouraged to apply, as this role requires sophisticated financial analysis and business case development skills.


Responsibilities

  • Strategic Portfolio Management: Establish processes to evaluate, prioritize, and monitor initiatives while optimizing resources and creating strategic roadmaps.
  • Resource Optimization: Implement capacity planning, flexible staffing models, and workforce planning to address allocation challenges and peak demand periods.
  • Financial Management & Governance: Develop ROI models, track performance against budgets, and align project investments with corporate financial goals.
  • Process Engineering and Quality Assurance: Design and improve business processes, define quality metrics, and ensure standardization through governance frameworks.
  • Project Delivery Excellence: Tailor methodologies, implement risk management frameworks, and create knowledge management systems.
  • Organizational Leadership: Advise executive leaders, lead change management initiatives, and mentor project management staff.
  • Quality Management: Establish standardized tools, quality gates, and dashboards to ensure project success and transparency for stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Lead financial risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and align investments with corporate objectives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, industrial engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of project/program management experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in PMO or similar function
  • Financial background or significant experience with financial analysis and business case development
  • PMP certification or equivalent professional qualification
  • Experience in implementing and managing PMO functions in a multi-project environment
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and capital allocation processes highly desirable
