  •  A project administrator is usually next in the chain of command behind the project manager. Project coordinator duties are therefore about supporting the project manager in managing projects.
  • Project coordinators need to excel in a fast-paced and challenging work environment. There is always something that needs attention, more often many things, so the ideal project coordinator must be comfortable in a stressful atmosphere.  
  • DESIGNING AND CONTROLLING THE PROJECT SCHEDULE:
  • Break projects into doable tasks and set time frames and goals reflected on Gantt chart schedule.
  • Ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Monitor project progress and address potential issues
  • Measure and report on project performance
  • ASSISTING AND SUPPORTING THE PROJECT MANAGER
  • Delegating tasks to team members. Making sure that team has to execute the project.
  • Tracking and communicating project risks and opportunities.
  • PERFORMS ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS:
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • COORDINATES WITH TEAM AND THE CLIENTS TO DETERMINE PROJECT’S OBJECTIVES
  • Answers phones and emails, schedules and confirms appointments, and inputs customer data into company systems.
  • Organizes workflow and appointment by reading and routing correspondence, collecting customer information, and managing assignments.
  • Scheduling of site visits and meetings with clients

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Industrial Engineer or related field of study.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.
