About the Role

We have partnered with a leading Australian fire services company specializing in design, installation,maintenance, and testing of fire protection systems. Established in 2008, they adhere to Australian Standards, providing innovative solutions and 24/7 emergency support.

As a Minor Works (Cost Estimator), you will evaluate project needs, estimate costs, catalog equipment, and prepare quotes in SimPRO. Ideal candidates have fire protection knowledge, attention to detail, and strong communication skills for accurate cost assessments.

What you’ll be working on:

● Work closely with the Senior Estimator and team to ensure all project requirements are met.

● List and organize necessary materials and equipment.

● Prepare and format quotes using SimPRO software.

● Assess project details and requirements for fire protection systems.

● Enter cost data into Excel for pricing calculations.

● Verify accuracy and consistency in estimates.

What we’re looking for:

● Fresh graduates (preferably with a background in Civil Engineering or Construction and related courses)

● Detail-oriented with strong accuracy.

● Basic computer skills (training provided).

● Comfortable with numbers and data.

● Problem-solver with a proactive mindset.

● Organized, reliable, and meets deadlines.

● Works well independently and in a team.
