Position Title: Construction Specialist

Work Location: Ermita, Manila (HO) - NCR

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Construction Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing construction projects, specifically improvements and fit-outs for retail stores. This includes reviewing plans, ensuring compliance with specifications, coordinating field activities, and preparing necessary documentation for permits and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review architectural and engineering plans, drawings, and specifications for project implementation
• Provide solutions to construction-related challenges, including material selections, shop drawings, and RFI/RFA responses
• Prepare documents for permit applications and ensure compliance with local regulations
• Develop and maintain project estimates, timelines, and schedules
• Conduct field inspections and monitor work progress
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality and timely completion
• Oversee retail fit-out interior works
• Ensure adherence to company standards and safety regulations

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related course
• Preferably a Licensed Civil Engineer
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• At least 1 year experience in construction, retail fit-out, or related field
• Willing to do field work and travel as required
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

Compensation:

• Starting at PHP 20,000 per month (commensurate with experience)
