Architectural Project Manager

Primary Position Objectives

The role of the Architectural Project Manager is to oversee the design process of a building or urban design project assigned to his/her team.  He/she monitors the progress of the process, while also contributing in the leg work of the design.  The Architectural Project manager develops, organizes, and reviews building plans, ensuring that a project meets all safety and environmental standards ensuring the integration of the Palafox brand on environmental sustainability.

Duties and responsibilities

• Manage a team of Project Architects
• Work on multiple projects
• Participation in the design process
• Prepare reports and presentations for client meetings
• Development of schematic design and design development
• Review architectural drawings for federal, state, and local code compliance and according to terms and conditions of contract
• Coordination of the project team’s work
• Monitor the progress of all Architecture/Urban Design phases per assigned project
• Manage correspondence with clients, vendors, consultants, etc.
• Responsible for project schedule and budget
• Build and maintain client relations

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 5-10 years of experience as a licensed Architect 
• Good standing in relevant professional associations 
• Experience in Architecture, Master Planning and/or Urban design planning and development
• Strong negotiation skills for internal and external purposes.
• Experience in successfully presenting designs and proposals at client meetings and industry events 
• Project Management experience
• Proficient in Architectural softwares such as AutoCAD and Revit, Others can be SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe or similar tools
• With excellent communication skills
