The Purchasing Staff is responsible for supporting the purchasing team in all aspects of the procurement process. This includes administrative tasks, vendor communication, order processing, and maintaining accurate purchasing records. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills to ensure the efficient and timely acquisition of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions.
  • Communicate with suppliers to track orders, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Maintain and update vendor information, product catalogs, and price lists.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and products.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate receipt and storage of purchased items.
  • Manage and organize purchasing files and records, both physical and digital.
  • Assist in the resolution of invoice discrepancies and billing issues with the accounting department.
  • Prepare and submit purchasing reports as required by the Purchasing Manager.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Atleast 1 year work experience in a similar role
  • Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply
  • Strong mathematical skills and a high level of accuracy are essential
  • Familiarity with purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite/GSuite is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated skills in negotiation, communication, and attention to detail will be highly considered.
