Job Summary

The QA/QC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the diligent implementation of standard quality assurance and quality control procedures on all project sites. This role involves active monitoring and coordination with QA/QC staff on site regarding construction activities, materials, and workmanship to guarantee strict adherence to project plans, specifications, drawings, applicable building codes, and industry standards. The QA/QC Supervisor conducts regular audits and inspections, identifies non-conformities, facilitates corrective actions, and maintains comprehensive quality documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the company’s QA/QC manual and standard programs.
• Ensure all quality control checks and tests are performed by project site QA/QC staff in accordance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and project requirements.
• Collate all project site QA/QC documents.
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for deviations from quality standards or specifications identified during site audits.
• Track NCR status across all project sites, ensure timely corrective and preventive actions, and verify effectiveness upon re-inspection.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to address quality concerns and implement corrective measures.
• Conduct monthly meetings with all project site QA/QC staff to discuss quality performance and issues per project.
• Ensure construction methods and procedures comply with the project Quality Plan established prior to project start.
• Monitor the handover process of all project sites to clients to ensure a smooth transition.
• Mentor and train cadet engineers on QA/QC standard programs and processes.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Civil Engineer (preferred but not required)

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience in construction quality control or assurance
• At least 3 to 5 years in a supervisory or lead QA/QC role
