Responsible for the proper and careful checking of all the physical attributes of the company’s products to assure conformity to the specifications

To familiarize oneself with all the quality acceptance tolerances and specs applicable to all stock items and more specially to customized ones.
To practice due diligence in qualifying each sheet in terms of the physical dimensions including allowable tolerances as well as other attributes that include color/shade, and surface appearance, . When in doubt, to refer to the files and seek his immediate superior’s advise.
To immediately inform his superior of any quality concerns as soon as they are detected to enable the initiation of corrective actions.
To accurately keep track of the quantity produced per MO and assist the SIC in ascertaining the production balance at any given time.
To pack all sheets that passed the quality inspection according to the standard packing quantity. Mark or labels the packs by indicating all pertinent data as required.
To initiate the timely cutting of all in –line rejected sheets as well as the trim sides in order to prevent accumulation of scraps.
To be responsible in the adjustment of the photo sensor or fly away switch that triggers the line’s cutting mechanism
To assist in the setting of the slitters by providing immediate feedback to the Process Assistant on the resulting width of the sheet.
accomplish all reports related to the conduct of quality inspections
To carefully pack the sheets that passed the in-line quality inspection while ensuring the correct number of sheets per pack. Packing details must be made clearly visible.

College level at least.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people are essential.
Good leadership skills are beneficial and with a good sense of judgment.
