• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and specifications for mechanical or electrical projects.
• Conduct cost analyses for various project stages and ensure budgets are adhered to.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to establish project requirements and timelines.
• Oversee contract negotiations and manage financial aspects of projects.
• Assist in the development of tender documentation and evaluation of bids.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical and Mechanical or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical and mechanical QS roles (construction industry must be preferred)
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, materials and installation methods.
• Proficient in quantity take-off, cost estimation and preparation of BOQ's for electrical works.
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD and QS software (Bluebeam, Planswift, CostX or similar).
• Ability to work closely with engineers, contractors and project teams.
