Job description:

Responsible for creating and implementing of the approved project execution plan, which includes the overall planning, execution and up to the closing of the project. This role involves in leading the project site team, managing all resources, monitoring the budget and the schedule while adhering strictly to the quality and safety standards of the company and of the client. Also serves as the primary point of contact for all the stakeholders involve in the project, while ensuring effective communication and successful project delivery.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Collaborates with the Engineering and PMO department during the pre-construction phase

· Develops the Project Execution Plan which consists of a comprehensive plan on how to deliver the project. Includes a detailed timeline, resource loading, logistics planning, site utilization plan, sequence and phasing of work, quality and safety program.

· Prepares and manages the project budget (committed cost) and reconciles it with the Engineering department.

· Conducts risk assessment and propose mitigation plans on how to address the potential issues or problems the project may encounter.

· Participates in the bidding process, including bid evaluations and negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.

· Manage, lead and motivates the project site team, which includes all the manpower on site.

· Oversees the daily construction operations, ensuring work is performed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards.

· Closely monitors the project’s schedule and budget, identifying possible issues in advance and prepare and implements corrective actions

· Close monitors the project’s procurement process and schedule, to ensure timely deliveries and awarding of subcontractors.

· Maintain clear, consistent and effective communication with all the stakeholders of the project.

· Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports regarding the project’s progress, update on budget, schedule, issues and concerns.

· Monitors the status and submissions of the project’s billings to client and billings of subcontractors.

· Responsible for the supervision, deployment and delegation of project closeout activities to all staff prior to handover of project.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Education

· Civil Engineering graduate (preferably)

· Licensed Engineer

2. Experience

· At least 5 years experience w/ the position

3. Technical Competencies (“Know-how”)

· Knows how to operate Autocad software; can interpret technical drawings and specifications.

· Proficient in Construction Management Software (e.g. MS Project, Primavera)

· Proficient in MS Excel, Powerpoint and Document

· Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, equipment and processes.

· Knowledgeable on building codes, regulations and labor law.
