DINING SUPERVISOR


1. Operations

• In-charge of conducting daily briefings to provide updates to the dining staff, delegate the opening and closing duties, and assign the staff to their designated station.

• Responsible for checking the dining areas to ensure cleanliness, and all tables and chairs are properly set.

• Responsible for opening the POS machine and ensuring it is functioning properly.

• Handle guest complaints efficiently, and escalate to the Shift Manager any incident that needs further assistance.

• Rove around the dining area, and assist any guest concerns to ensure all guests have the best experience.

• Monitor the stocks and ensure that all items needed are adequate to support continuous restaurant operations.

• Distribute the tip among the cashiers, bartenders, receptionists, and runners.

• Send daily number of guests to the designated messaging group.

• In-charge of requesting the replacements of nameplates, radios, and uniforms as necessary.

• Follow up any pending request of repair and maintenance to the Admin and Maintenance Department.

• Perform other related tasks in support to the restaurant operations.


2. People Management

• Support the Operations Manager and Shift Manager in monitoring and evaluating the work activities of

subordinates to ensure effective work performance.

• Provide work-related support to subordinate/s as needed.

• Ensure subordinates are trained and developed to maintain and/or improve work performance in current roles and/or future roles.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in 4-year or 5-year course, preferably Hospitality-related course

• At least three (3) years of working experience handling similar function

• Preferably with HACCP certification

• Preferably with Quality assurance training


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge in HACCP, quality assurance, and food handling.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Organization, Time Management, Records Management and Administrative skills;

• Analytical Skills and Creativity

• Leadership Skills

• Interpersonal Skills to form effective working relationships to people at all levels

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, POS, other relevant software applications.

• Flexibility in schedule and work assignment
