• Inspect facilities by observing operations and activities, investigating health and safety complaints, and ensuring that the District is in compliance with safety regulations.
• Observe work in progress, ensuring that proper safety equipment is worn and procedures are followed.
• Coordinate and consult with Management regarding health and safety issues in their respective areas and notify management staff regarding violations of safety regulations and codes.
• Make recommendations for corrections and follow up to ensure that violations have been corrected.
• Develop policies, plans, and procedures to minimize risk to the system and employees.
• Administer the occupational injured workers program, including Worker’s Compensation; compile, analyze, and interpret accident, injury, and lost time statistics and cost data reports for management.
• Resolve complaints and make recommendations to management for corrective action, as required.
• Conduct or provide employee safety training, including lectures, seminars, demonstrations, or hands-on instruction.
• Review accidents and make recommendations for the prevention of similar future incidents.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree Graduate of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Course.
• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of working experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
• Knowledge in handling manpower.
