The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Associate to join our dedicated team. This role is crucial for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for events. You will drive sales, build relationships, and help clients envision and execute their perfect event. This role focuses on closing deals for weddings, birthdays, corporate meetings, and other special events.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Qualification

• Identify and research potential clients through various channels (online research, networking, industry events, referrals)
• Respond promptly to inbound inquiries (phone, email, website) and qualify leads based on event needs and budget

Sales & Client Management

• Conduct compelling presentations and site visits (if applicable) to showcase our venue/services
• Actively listen to client needs and propose tailored event solutions and packages
• Prepare detailed proposals, contracts, and quotes
• Negotiate terms and close deals effectively to meet and exceed sales targets
• Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales cycle and hand-off to the operations team

Marketing & Promotion

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns targeting specific event segments (e.g., bridal fairs, corporate showcases)
• Assist in creating marketing materials, social media content, and website updates
• Represent Rancho Blanco Recreation & Resort at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
• Gather client feedback and market intelligence to identify new opportunities and improve offerings

Administrative & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and sales activities in the CRM system
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the sales and marketing department

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sales, preferably within events, hospitality, or related service industry (fresh graduates welcome)
• Demonstrated ability to close deals and achieve sales targets
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• English proficiency is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for events and a genuine desire to help clients create memorable experiences
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Existing network within the local event planning community
