The Business Development Coordinator assists the Business Development Manager in obtaining long term Industrial & Commercial Accounts and to ensure that these accounts are preserved by maintaining good customer service and maximizing customer satisfaction. The Business Development Coordinator is also trusted to give crucial knowledge and information in the implementation of effective sales strategies of the team.

Position Qualifications:
● College Degree : Any business related course

General Skills:
o Has Leadership skills
o Knowledgeable in account management
o Average skills in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Powerpoint
o Good written and verbal communication skills
o Customer Service Oriented
o Skilled in sales negotiation and value-based selling

Primary Responsibilities:

AREA SUPERVISORY AND MANAGEMENT

  • Assists Business Development Manager in acquiring new accounts.
  • Prepares and processes documents of the new accounts for system registration.
  • Assists Business Development Manager in planning, soliciting and maintaining new accounts.
  • Prepares and submit inter-office memorandum and proposals.
  • Assist Business Development Manager to prepare business plans, marketing proposals and pricing proposals.
  • Assists Business Development Manager in addressing elevated concerns of new accounts and clients.
  • Conducts regular client/account visits based on their submitted itinerary.
  • Prepares and submits contracts and agreements made between accounts/clients and BIVMC.
  • Coordinate, follow-up resolution regarding clients/accounts’ technical needs with TSD.

DELIVERY COORDINATION

  • Ensures proper endorsement of orders of accounts/clients with OPD.
  • Endorses complete delivery instruction of accounts/clients’ delivery schedule/
  • Follow-up status of deliveries to accounts/clients.
  • Coordinate with clients regarding price updates and promotional offers.
  • Monitor deliveries to accounts/clients

BILLING

  • Endorses billings to collectors.
  • Monitors collections status of billing documents.
  • Monitors proper filing of business documents submitted by the accounts to the ASEs.

ACCOUNT RECEIVABLE MONITORING

  • Maintain the collection status of all accounts receivables under Business Development.
  • Checks, validates and prepares A/R collection status report.
  • Coordinates with accounts and clients to reconcile all pending A/R balances.
  • Prepares collection letters and follow-up receipt of collection letters for all A/R balances.
  • Conducts coordination and A/R reconciliation meetings with the accounts together with the BDM.

DATA MONITORING AND REPORTING

  • Submission of weekly and monthly reports regarding status of all accounts assigned under Business Development.
  • Investigate historical data of all accounts for possible debts and unpaid bills.
  • Prepare and present reports on progress of collection activities.
