- Analyze project documents, client specifications, and technical requirements to create accurate and competitive proposals for construction-related products and services.
- Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and purchasing teams to ensure proposals reflect accurate pricing, technical compliance, and product availability.
- Prepare comprehensive bid packages, including eligibility requirements, technical documentation, pricing, product specifications, delivery timelines, and service scope.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and respond to technical clarifications to support bid acceptance and project awards.
Client Relationship Management and Continuous Communication
- Build strong professional relationships with clients, engineers, and procurement teams across all stages of construction projects.
- Conduct regular client calls and send follow-up emails to provide updates, respond to inquiries, and maintain continuous communication throughout the sales cycle.
- Address client concerns proactively and offer technical guidance to ensure satisfaction and long-term business relationships.
- Organize and lead technical presentations, product orientations, and post-sale support meetings.
- Keep an organized record of all client interactions, meetings, and communications using CRM tools.
Ocular Site Visits, Field Work, and Technical Support (for Proposal Preparation)
- Conduct thorough ocular site visits to evaluate existing site conditions, validate project requirements, and identify specific technical needs essential for accurate and responsive proposal development.
- Perform on-site field work to collect critical data and contextual insights that inform the technical scope and feasibility of the proposed solutions.
- Provide comprehensive technical support during the proposal preparation phase, ensuring that all recommendations are aligned with site realities and client expectations.
Sales Target Achievement and Business Development
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas for construction products and service solutions.
- Actively seek and identify new clients and sales opportunities by:
- Networking with construction professionals and industry contacts.
- Monitoring public bidding portals, construction permits, and project announcements.
- Visiting construction sites and developer offices to present company offerings and generate leads.
- Track project pipelines, follow up on active leads, and manage opportunities through the entire sales cycle.
- Offer bundled solutions to maximize client value and increase win rates.
Collaboration with Purchasing and Marketing Teams
- Work closely with the Purchasing Team to ensure accurate and up-to-date pricing, stock levels, and delivery timelines.
- Align sales activities with supply capabilities to avoid order delays and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Partner with the Marketing Team to develop campaigns, sales materials, and client presentations tailored to project types and market segments.
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support product positioning, pricing strategy, and promotional planning.
- Represent the company in client events, and technical seminars to enhance visibility and reputation.
Travel and Market Engagement
- Travel regularly to construction sites, client offices, and supplier locations to maintain a strong field presence and support active projects.
- Attend industry events, expos, and association meetings to strengthen market presence and build a network of potential clients.
- Ensure all field activities are conducted with professionalism and adherence to health and safety standards.
