Position overview:

The primary focus of the Sales Manager is to lead and manage a highly capable Philippines-based sales team. This role will assume responsibility for the performance of the sales team ensuring that all goals and sales targets are met.

As a part of this role, the Sales Manager will form a key part of the recruitment and onboarding process for all sales team members. They will be responsible for the initial and ongoing training and upskilling of the sales team to ensure optimum performance levels are met. Another function of this role will be to provide management, leadership and mentorship primarily to the sales team but also across the broader business, including the customer support and client services support teams.

Key Deliverables:

• Daily management of the sales team and processes

• Responsibility for the performance of the sales team ensuring that both individually and collectively sales and revenue targets are met

• Continuous improvement of team performance and compliance

• Hiring, training and onboarding of new sales team members

• Proactively monitoring the scheduling of inspections to ensure that maximum inspector utilisation is achieved including the judicious usage of contractors

• Ensuring that all award and OHS guidelines are followed during the scheduling of inspection.

Role specific capabilities

• Background in leading and developing teams in a dynamic sales environment

• Ability to work and communicate across all levels of the business

• Ability to think outside the box with a “can do” attitude towards problem solving

• Proactively take ownership of the sales team and functions while constantly driving improvements and solutions

• Previous sales experience dealing with English speaking clients, preferably the Australian market

• Ability to adapt to new situations and scenarios and take ownership of leading the sales team through any changes to processes, business environments etc

• Strong communicator with the ability to motivate and inspire others

• A self-starter with the ability to work and lead teams in a remote office setting Qualifications and experience

• Business degree or similar

• Having led geographically dispersed teams

• Working with cross functional and remote teams to support projects and change

• Demonstrated capability leading, coaching and managing a team

• Business reporting software
