The Sales Associate will be responsible for supporting the company’s sales operations through client communication, project follow-ups, scheduling, and lead generation. She will handle inquiries via email and phone, conduct cold calls, and coordinate with clients to ensure smooth transactions and project progress. This position offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience in the solar, lighting, roadworks, and construction industries, with training and career development provided.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Respond promptly to client inquiries via email, phone, and social media
  2. Conduct follow-ups on ongoing and potential projects to ensure client satisfaction
  3. Schedule meetings, client visits, and project site appointments
  4. Perform cold calling and reach out to potential clients from company directories or lead lists
  5. Maintain and update client databases and sales records
  6. Assist in the preparation of sales quotations, proposals, and contracts
  7. Coordinate with the project and engineering teams regarding client requirements and project timelines
  8. Track and monitor project progress, providing updates to clients as needed
  9. Support the marketing team in promoting products and services (e.g., solar panels, street lights, construction materials)
  10. Participate in sales meetings, presentations, and trade events when required
  11. Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management
  12. Contribute to the development of sales strategies to attract and retain clients
  13. Ensure excellent customer service and maintain strong professional relationships with clients
  14. Perform other sales tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the management

Qualifications and Skills

  • Graduate of any 4-year course, preferably a fresh graduate
  • Has a pleasing personality and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & Google Suite Products
  • Willing to learn and grow in the sales and construction industry
