Key Responsibilities: Senior Lead Technician

I. Technical Expertise & Operations

1. Perform advanced installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of refrigeration, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
2. Conduct detailed diagnostics and root cause analysis to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
3. Ensure all maintenance and repair activities are performed according to technical standards and manufacturer specifications.
4. Review, interpret, and create accurate technical drawings, schematics, and service reports.
5. Maintain and calibrate tools, testing devices, and specialized equipment to ensure precision and safety.
6. Provide expert guidance on selecting appropriate materials, methods, and tools for projects.
7. Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules and recommend improvements to optimize system performance.

II. Leadership & Team Management

1. Lead and supervise a team of technicians, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
2. Delegate tasks effectively and monitor team performance, providing feedback and technical direction as needed.
3. Train and mentor junior technicians, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.
4. Coordinate with project managers and other departments to align technical work with operational goals.
5. Maintain open communication with management, clients, and vendors to ensure clarity in project expectations and progress.

III. Project & Workflow Management

1. Plan and oversee technical projects, from resource allocation to completion, ensuring compliance with timelines and budgets.
2. Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and maintenance logs for accuracy and completeness.
3. Evaluate completed work to ensure adherence to technical specifications and safety standards.
4. Participate in equipment commissioning, system upgrades, and technical audits.

IV. Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

1. Enforce strict adherence to all safety, environmental, and industry compliance standards.
2. Ensure team awareness and application of proper safety procedures and PPE usage.
3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, codes, and certifications.
4. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety.
5. Support continuous professional development through training, certifications, and technical updates.
