An Automotive Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role supports the dealership’s service operations by delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

•  Advanced Diagnostics & Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems including engines, transmissions, and hybrid systems.
•  Repairs & Maintenance: Perform routine services such as oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
•  Component Replacement: Repair or replace faulty parts including suspension systems, exhausts, and transmissions.
•  Documentation: Accurately record work performed, parts used, and labor hours in service reports.
•  Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
•  Team Collaboration: Coordinate with service advisors and parts department to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or vocational certificate in Automotive Technology
• Completion of an automotive training program or apprenticeship preferred

Experience

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
• Experience in dealership or fleet service environments is a plus
• Driving is a plus
