Sales Performance

• Achieves financial objectives by meeting and monitoring daily sales targets of outright and consignor items, controlling petty cash and counter transactions, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Determines team strategy to reach sales targets by reviewing store sales records and growth of different product categories.
• Actively supports events by promoting NPDs, implementing promotions, and following selling instructions; markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans.
• Ensures excellent store condition at all times.

Inventory Management

• Determines team strategy to reach sales targets by reviewing inventory movement of all product categories.
• Secures merchandise by adhering to security systems, maintaining shrinkage at acceptable levels.
• Ensures all in-store assets, including supplies, furniture, equipment, and information, are responsibly handled.
• Implements security systems (CCTV) and other measures to safeguard merchandise.

Process Excellence and Compliance

• Ensures security and safety control measures for all store operations.
• Delivers fast and accurate counter service and monitors team compliance with counter operations guidelines and policies.
• Maintains excellent merchandise displays, compliant with standards and approved store layout.
• Maintains store cleanliness and ensures store selling assets are in working condition.
• Complies with company-prescribed uniform, grooming, service standards, and attendance policy.
• Maintains store operations by coordinating and enforcing programs, operational, and personnel policies.
• Upholds store stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.

Customer Focus

• Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing relationships with potential and actual customers.
• Maintains behavior reflecting company goals, service philosophy, and commitment, ensuring all staff deliver consistently.
• Adheres to the Selling Journey as outlined in the Mystery Shopper Questionnaire.
• Ensures availability of merchandise and customer services by maintaining inventories, tools, supplies, collaterals, and job aids.
• Entertains all walk-in wholesale/corporate clients on a one-on-one basis.
• Explains product features, benefits, applications, and technical specifications to customers.
• Coordinates with merchandising for orders; sources items if unavailable.
• Coordinates with Central and Branch Warehouse Supervisors on delivery timelines and resolves conflicts.
• Manages store cash and check sales collections, assuming custodianship of store funds including Loose Change Fund and Petty Cash Fund.
• Performs other related functions as assigned by superiors.

Leadership and Management

• Contributes to merchandising and marketing activities through monitoring and feedback on promotions, window displays, business bulletin information, and trend analysis.
• Maintains store staff performance by coaching, conducting skills audits, counseling, disciplining employees, planning, monitoring staff progress, and appraising job results.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing industry publications, establishing personal networks, and supporting Ace Hardware development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year course.
• At least 2 years of experience in Customer Service (Retail/Fast Food).
• Willing to be assigned at Ace Hardware Waltermart, Nasugbu, Batangas.
