The Tax Associate is responsible for supporting the Tax Accountant with tax accounting activities. The Tax Associate is responsible for maintaining tax compliance and tax accounting support schedules primarily related to the determination of income and related taxes. The Tax Associate will interact and work on project and assignment within the Accounting and Finance Department.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Prepare or assist in the preparation of tax returns, extensions and quarterly estimated tax payments, and other tax compliance, including but not limited to tracking all compliance and filing status.
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and year-end income tax provisions and supporting schedules
• Prepare and assist in the creation of documents to support internal/external auditors and Tax Accountant
• Review accounts, activity, and prepare reconciliations of income tax balances (i.e. income tax payable and deferred tax assets and liabilities) and general ledger accounts
• Maintain and reconcile tax related accounts
• Update of Company's Books of Accounts
• Provide assistance on matters relating to tax audits and other compliance initiatives, including communications and responses with tax authorities and other where required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• At least 1 year experience in Tax compliance, preparation, reports, and filing
• Experience in using NetSuite and/or any Accounting Software
