Tax Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with Philippine tax laws and regulations, preparing accurate tax filings, and supporting audits conducted by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and other government requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of tax filings and supporting documentation.
• Monitor updates in Philippine tax laws and advise management on implications.
• Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure proper tax reporting.
• Support tax planning strategies to optimize liabilities while remaining compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license preferred but not required.
• 2–5 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, or auditing.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and BIR processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
