The Tax Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate tax compliance, timely filing of tax returns, and proper documentation of all tax-related transactions. The role supports the finance and accounting team by analyzing tax regulations, preparing reports, and ensuring the company adheres to local and national tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, income tax).
• Review, analyze, and reconcile tax accounts and supporting schedules.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure company compliance with updated requirements.
• Assist in tax planning and provide recommendations to optimize tax payments.
• Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies (e.g., BIR) for tax audits and inquiries.
• Ensure proper documentation and safekeeping of all tax-related records.
• Validate accuracy of tax computations, invoices, and financial data.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to tax.
• Prepare tax reports, certificates, and other mandated forms.
• Guide internal teams regarding tax compliance and required documents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Finance, or any related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in tax compliance or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of BIR regulations and tax compliance processes.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Willing to be assigned in Aseana 2, Paranaque City
