Responsibilities:

• Handle BIR compliance tasks (Maintain accurate tax records and files)
• BIR audits which includes communication and submission of documents to the BIR
• Ensures that the company’s tax position, practices and procedures are in compliance with existing tax laws, regulations and rulings.
• Timely and accurate tax filings and remittances of tax obligations.
• Coordinates with external consultants and other teams to ensure timely tax submission of tax issues and matters requiring professional advice or expert opinion.
• Use SAP and JDA for reporting purposes

Qualifications:

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant
• Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant tax experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Familiarity with BIR e-filing systems and other regulatory platforms
• Proficiency in SAP and JDA systems is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Willing to perform field work, including visits to BIR
• Can engage with BIR officers for compliance-related coordination and communication
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws and regulations.
