Job Title: Network Technician

The Network Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network systems to ensure reliable connectivity and optimal performance. This role supports both hardware and software network components, ensuring that data communication and system efficiency are maintained across all sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, access points, and firewalls
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and performance issues
• Perform cable management, network setup, and device configuration
• Conduct regular maintenance and testing of network systems to ensure stability and security
• Assist in network documentation, inventory management, and monitoring activities
• Collaborate with IT staff to support infrastructure upgrades and deployments
• Ensure compliance with network security policies and standards
• Provide user support for network-related concerns

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any IT-related course (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science) or possesses equivalent relevant experience
• Background in network configuration, installation, or troubleshooting is preferred

Skills Required:

• Network installation and configuration (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi)
• Knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls, and access points
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for hardware and network issues
• Understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, and routing protocols
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and basic cybersecurity principles
• Cabling and structured wiring knowledge (UTP/Fiber)
• Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and documentation
• Time management and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to technical standards
• Good communication and teamwork skills

General Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel or accept assignments anywhere in the Philippines
• Work schedule: 8 hours per day, Monday to Saturday
• No overtime, but incentives are provided
