Vendor Assistant Manager supports in handling suppliers, contractors and service partners critical to telecom operations such as network equipment providers, fiber contractors, tower vendors and maintenance partners.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing vendors involved network roll out, fiber installations, cell site builds maintenance and equipment supply.
  • Monitor vendor performance
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding materials delivery, site updates, technical requirements and project schedules
  • Help Review and validate vendor documentation such as BOQs, as built plans, work orders, job orders and project reports.
  • Support in negotiating pricing, contract terms and service level agreements
  • Ensure all vendors follow telecom standards on quality, safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in preparing vendor scoreboards, performance reports and audit results.
  • Support Cost Optimization projects and vendor process improvements.
  • Coordinate resolution of quality issues, installation defects or service delays
  • Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of telecom materials


Qualifications:

  • Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC Registered)
  • 3–5 years of solid experience in Procurement, Vendor Management, or Project Management, preferably in telecommunications or construction industry
  • Strong understanding of vendor evaluation, performance monitoring, and contract administration
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation and mediation abilities to handle vendor-related issues effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with ERP systems or SAP or similar is an advantage is an advantage


This position will play a critical role in enhancing vendor relations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the department’s overall operational efficiency.
