Responsible for providing support in the planning and delivery of the organization’s compensation and benefits programs. Including driving compensation analysis, market benchmarking, and ensuring competitive and fair salary structures that align with business objectives. Handle more complex compensation-related requests, perform job evaluations, and are involved in key processes like merit increases and salary recommendations.
● Provide comprehensive and customer service oriented guidance to employees as the subject matter expert of compensation and benefits processes and computations.
● Support or lead the analysis and recommendations for salary adjustments.
● Prepare Employee Change Notice documents (ECNs) and maintain salary update in the system
● Prepare detailed reports, such as but not limited to fully loaded cost reports and other compensation-related requests, to provide management with the insights needed for strategic decision-making.
● Support or lead the preparation and distribution of merit increase letters, ensuring alignment with company policies and performance evaluations.
● Conduct job evaluations and compensation benchmarking (including participation to formal surveys, e.g. WTW) to ensure that salary structures are competitive with market standards and aligned with organizational goals.
●Perform ad-hoc activities such as supporting other TR projects, preparing retention packages, other compensation and benefits analysis to sustain the market competitiveness of the compensation structure.
● Guides junior Compensation & Benefits specialist/s as needed in the conduct of daily transactions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
New Hire Salary Recommendation
- Validate request of new hire salary recommendation from Recruitment.
Perform salary recommendation for new hire as per the company’s salary range mapping.
Internal Salary Recommendation
Validate request of internal movements from requestor (promotion, salary adjustment, temporary assignment, revert to old position, Lateral Transfer, ACA).
Perform salary recommendation as per the company’s salary range mapping.
Prepare employee change notice (ECNs) via Scrive.
Update employee movement tracker for SAP system update.
Pay Advice Preparation/ Allowance Set up in SAP
- Consolidate salary/allowance changes per payroll cutoff and upload changes in SAP.
Set up recurring/one time allowances in SAP every payout.
Allowance and Salary Validation
- Ensure accuracy of allowance and salary update every payout.
Validate allowances of all employees as per eligibility every payout.
Scholarship Application Management
- Ensure scholarship policy is updated as per guidelines.
Manage scholarship application of employees which includes validation, coordination with HRBPs and Transcom Cares.
Service Award Management
- Prepare and maintain a tracker for the service incentive awardees Job Description.
Validate crediting of allowances.
Prepare draft of communication for service awardees.
Job evaluation/Benchmarking
- Ensure all Transcom position titles are mapped to TW mapping file.
Participate in the annual salary benchmarking survey.
Prepare fully loaded cost and other compensation reports.
Annual Merit Increase Letter Preparation
Prepare annual merit increase letters for eligible employees.
Special Allowances
Review and Design Special Allowance.
Manage Approval and Documentation Process.
Process, Monitor and Track Allowance Distribution.
Policy and Process
Support or lead the review or creation of compensation and benefits related policies and processes.
Other Activities
Perform other work duties as assigned such as projects, compliance activities (including Data Protection, Audit etc.), providing support for bidding and renewal activities, benefits review, among others.
What we are looking for:
To be successful in this role you must…
- Hold a university degree or professional experience, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Math, Finance, or other related fields.
- Relevant certifications and training courses in Total Rewards is preferred.
- At least 3 years experience in C&B, TR or Payroll role, with at least 6 months hands-on experience in compensation administration to support full cycle activities such as but not limited to: salary review, benchmarking, variable pay programs, job pricing.
- Minimum 1 year experience in the same capacity for at least 1000 headcount, preferably in a BPO, IT, FMCG setting, and other fast moving and high volume industries.
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheets (e.g., mathematical formula, pivot reporting, charting, VBA and macros, Power BI, etc).
