• Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair on vehicles (engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, suspension, heating/AC, etc.).
• Lead and supervise a team of mechanics/technicians, providing technical guidance and training.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance services in line with manufacturer specifications.
• Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure all repair work meets industry and company quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and labor hours.
• Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and cost estimates.
• Monitor shop workflow, assign tasks, and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Uphold workplace safety practices, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Stay current with new automotive technologies, tools, and repair procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or technical certification
• 5–10+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead technician role.
• Strong expertise in diagnostics, electrical systems, and computerized repair tools.
• Leadership and mentoring skills to support junior mechanics.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Strong communication skills with both team members and customers.
