• Water Supply: Used extensively for ingredient processing, cleaning equipment (sanitation), cooling machinery, and general facility needs. The quality of water must meet specific standards based on its use.
• Energy Sources: Electricity and natural gas power machinery, lighting, HVAC systems, and other electrical equipment essential for all operations.
• Steam Generation: Generated in boilers, steam provides heat for various processes, including cooking, pasteurization, and sterilization of equipment and products.
• Refrigeration/Cooling: Critical for storage, preservation, and distribution of perishable goods to prevent bacterial growth and maintain product safety and freshness.
• Compressed Air: Used for powering pneumatic tools, controlling valves, and operating packaging systems.
• Environmental Air Control: This involves managing air quality and pressure differentials within the plant to prevent cross-contamination, often using filtration systems like HEPA filters in high-risk areas.
• Waste Management and Treatment: Essential systems for the proper handling and treatment of wastewater and solid waste streams to ensure environmental compliance with regulations. 
• Must be customer-oriented, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
• Additional role-specific skills are an advantage (e.g., kitchen experience for Line Cook)
