  • Receive and review claims documents and coordinate with claimants
  • Interview claimant(s) and/or witnesses to gather pertinent information
  • Conduct an actual investigation or inspection to determine the veracity of the loss and the extent of the insurance company's liability concerning personal, casualty, or property loss or damages
  • Gather pertinent documents and examine their validity and consistency
  • Verify the coverage applies through an insurance policy and its premium payment
  • Evaluate the loss to ascertain the compensation amount or the company's liability
  • Conduct necessary canvassing of parts prices relating to the claims filed
  • Negotiate the assessment with the claimant to settle the claim
  • Prepare and/or issue Evaluation, Final Offer, Letter of Authority to Repair, and/or Final Recommendation for payment
  • Prepare and send Denial Letters and/or Demand Letter in the case of denied and with recovery claims.
  • Segregate claims documents for forwarding to accounting and/or to head office

Syarat-syarat

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in claims processing, investigation, or related insurance functions is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with claimants, witnesses, and internal teams
  • Ability to conduct on-site investigations or inspections for personal, casualty, or property claims
  • Proficient in gathering, reviewing, and validating pertinent documents
  • Knowledgeable in interpreting insurance policies, coverages, and premium payments
  • Capable of evaluating losses and determining appropriate compensation or company liability
  • Skilled in negotiating and handling claims settlements with claimants
  • Proficient in preparing evaluation reports, settlement offers, repair authorizations, and other necessary claims documentation
  • Ability to prepare Denial and Demand Letters when applicable
  • Organized and systematic in handling and segregating claims documents for accounting and head office processing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
